Far away there is a drum!
I can hear it go thrum thrum thrum!
It echoes the beating of my heart!
I want to dance until the deep, deep throbbing starts!
Oh, my heart aches,
Oh I want you to take me now!
While the evening is ripe and full and heavy like a luscious fruit!
Do with me what you will,
Do it all!
I can’t stop myself from throbbing,
Like a tender shoot,
Like a rosebud unfolding,
Like a Venus fly-trap of love,
Holding you, also throbbing, in my thrall!
Oh, my heart aches!
Oh I want you to take me now!
While the evening is ripe and full and heavy like a luscious fruit!
Do to me what you will,
Do it all!
I can’t stop myself from throbbing,
Like a tender shoot,
Like a rosebud unfolding,
Like a Venus fly-trap of love,
Holding you, also throbbing, in my thrall!
Astounding, deep, a truly lysergic experience! The movie is a masterpiece, and the soundtrack no less so on its own. Burning analog synths, crushing guitars, an unreal sense of space. What a final score for this amazing composer!
Think about it, this movie is so awesome, Robert Fripp let them use “Starless”.
THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN Brian Parker
